Eyeball is a free game about real statistics. You can play without an account. This page explains what is stored when you do.
Without an account
Your best scores, daily answers, language and sound settings are kept in your browser's local storage, on your device only. When you answer, the game also adds one to shared, anonymous counters (for example "62% of players got this one right" and today's score distribution). These counters contain no name, email or device identifier.
With an account or as an online guest
- Email and password (only for an email account; the password is stored hashed). With Google sign-in we receive your name, email address and Google account ID; we use only the email, to identify your account.
- Your player name, shown to other players in rooms and on leaderboards.
- Game results: run scores, daily results, the rooms you join and your answers in them.
Online guests get an anonymous account with just a nickname.
Who processes the data
Accounts and results are stored with Supabase (servers in Frankfurt, EU). The site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security. Google processes the sign-in if you choose "Continue with Google". We use no advertising, no analytics trackers and no third-party cookies, and we never sell or share your data.
Your rights
You can change your player name or sign out at any time from the Account page. You can ask to see, correct or delete your account and all its results by writing to the developer at the support email shown on the Google sign-in screen. Data is kept until you delete your account. Under the GDPR you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Privacy (italiano)
Chi tratta i dati
I tuoi diritti
